The Workshop Method
Pick one thing.
One. Even the sleigh is loaded one gift at a time.
Work a warm stretch.
Twenty-five minutes is the classic, but the number is yours: five minutes to three hours. When the time is up, the counter keeps going so you can finish your thought.
Take a cocoa break.
Five minutes, or longer when your body asks. Nobody should schedule your long breaks for you.
The workshop fits in your pocket.
The timer here is the free part. The iPhone app is the whole workshop.

Your own poster to decorate.
Swap the tree for the snow globe, the stocking for the gingerbread man. Tap a drawing, pick another. It's your workshop.

The time on your lock screen.
Live Activity, Dynamic Island and widgets keep the count while the phone lies face down, and the chime rings with the screen off.

A list you can actually fix.
Forgot to press start? Check it twice. Corrected. Forgiven. And in December, a new drawing arrives every day until the sleigh takes off.

Questions
- Is the web timer free?
- Yes, and it stays free. No account, no sign-up, nothing to install. The iPhone app is the paid part.
- Do I need an account?
- No. Nothing here has a login. The timer keeps your chosen lengths and today's count in your browser, and nowhere else.
- Does it work on my phone?
- The web timer works in any modern browser, including Safari on iPhone. The app is better there: the chime rings with the screen off, and the time sits on your lock screen.
- What happens when the timer ends?
- A single bell rings, and the counter keeps going with a plus sign. Finish your thought, then press Done. The extra minutes count too.
- Can I change the length?
- Yes. Drag the number or use the arrow keys: five minutes to three hours, and you can change it every single time.
- What's in the iPhone app that isn't here?
- A poster you decorate, Live Activity and lock-screen widgets, a list of sessions you can correct, one quiet chime that works with the screen off, and in December a new drawing every day.
- Does it work after Christmas?
- Yes. The timer runs all year. December is when it feels most at home.
- Where is my data?
- On your device. This website uses no cookies; its analytics run in a cookieless mode and follow you nowhere. The app sends anonymous usage events, and there is a switch for them in Settings.
